Taheera Saahir is a Shaman of Sovereignty, a First Generation medicine woman devoted to awakening the remembrance of divine power within the human spirit. With over two decades of experience in holistic healing and consciousness work, her path is one of service, liberation, and multidimensional remembrance.
​
Unlike many who follow traditional lineage paths, Taheera’s medicine emerges from a place of pure embodiment and direct revelation. She has been thoroughly trained in the sacred jungle medicines and spiritual sciences through initiations with respected teachers such as Elder Malidoma Patricia Somé, who carried the ancestral codes of African Indigenous wisdom, and Ayahuasca Shaman Joel Villamayor, whose guidance deepened her mastery of plant medicine and ceremonial work. Yet what makes Taheera’s walk distinct is her refusal to merely imitate tradition. She honors Indigenous teachings without appropriating them, weaving them with her own inner knowing and the spiritual technologies revealed through her soul lineage.

As the founder of the Ecology of Shamanism, both an online and in-person training experience, Taheera has created a living temple for those called to the path of mastery and remembrance. Her Oasis in the Mountains retreat center in the Dominican Republic serves as a sacred sanctuary where seekers from around the world gather for deep immersion, energy healing certifications, shamanic initiations, and transformative plant medicine journeys.

Over the years, Taheera has served more than a thousand souls—visionaries, healers, and everyday individuals seeking sovereignty, embodiment, and truth. Through her guidance, she has unlocked countless doorways in consciousness, helping others access the wisdom and power already encoded within their being.

Holding two Master’s Degrees in Psychology and Professional Counseling, Taheera bridges the worlds of science and spirit with grace. Her approach is both practical and mystical, merging nervous system regulation, shadow integration, and energetic alchemy with ancient and modern modalities. Whether through her signature retreats in Egypt, immersive medicine ceremonies in the Dominican Republic, or intimate virtual satsangs, her work continues to inspire profound transformation and remembrance.
